This artwork is an 1892 oil painting titled Galileo and Viviani by the Italian academic painter Tito Lessi

Dr. Floyd's Daughter vs. Vincenzo Viviani

Italian mathematician and scientist

Vincenzo Viviani (April 5, 1622 – September 22, 1703) was an Italian mathematician and scientist. He was a student of Torricelli and Galileo.

Viviani is a small lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It was named after Italian mathematician and physicist Vincenzo Viviani.

It is located due west of the prominent crater King, and just to the southeast of Katchalsky.
