Michael Evlampievich Perkhin (Russian: Михаил Евлампиевич Перхин; 1860–1903) was a Russian jeweler. Born in Okulovskaya in Olonets Governorate (now Republic of Karelia), he moved to St. Petersburg, he joined the House of Fabergé. With Henrik Wigström, he was one of the two leading workmasters of the House of Fabergé.

The Imperial Coronation egg is a jewelled Fabergé egg made under the supervision of the Russian jeweller, Peter Carl Fabergé, in 1897 by Fabergé ateliers, Mikhail Perkhin and Henrik Wigstrom. The egg was made to commemorate Tsarina, Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna. It was commissioned by Nicholas II.

(Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov;18 May [O.S. 6 May] 1868 – 17 July 1918) was Emperor of Russia from 1 November 1894 until his abdication in 1917. He was the last Russian monarch before the Russian Revolution and oversaw the Russian Empire's participation in World War I. In 1918, the Romanovs were murdered, putting an end to the Romanov dynasty.
