Carl Jung, in his autobiography Memories, Dreams, Reflections, described himself as having two distinct personalities during his childhood. He believed he was, at the same time, a modern, typical schoolboy (Personality No. 1) and a distinguished, authoritative gentleman from the 18th century (Personality No. 2).
